Busy printing a batch of bolting blocks for Aboyne Campervans for installing furniture into a VW Caddy. One of the requirements was that the bed unit must be removeable.

Originally they would get a flat plate, drill some holes in it for the securing screws and a through hole for the bolt. Then weld a nut to the plate and finish it off. A quick 5 minutes with Solidworks created a scalable block which was then dropped to the printer. A test block was created and checked with the screws to be used and, once confirmed, a batch job was created. Printing six blocks in solid black PETG for a nice finish.

We have some other bespoke parts in progress to simplify the build process. Updates to come
